People love comfort zones but is it really that safe?

I think instead it creates an illusion of safety.

That’s what makes you behave like a robot: go to a job that you don’t really like, spend money in stuff you don’t really need and travel to forget about how much you don’t like your job but since it allows you to travel… Whatever.

It’s a never-ending circle and if you want to think outside the box, you need to create some resistance in your life.

I’ve been there and since 2015 I told myself “never again”.

If you’re there too, this is what to expect:

  • Your ego and your circle of friends/family will try to stop you and that’s how you’ll know you’re doing the right thing.
  • It’s not gonna be pleasant at first but totally worth it in the end.
  • You’ll feel lonely.
  • You’ll have second thoughts all the time. What if, what if, what if… ?

Yet, despite all these moments of doubts, if I had to do it all over again, I’ll jump on it.

Since I’ve quit my job 5 years ago, I’ve learned to embrace chaos in my life.

Of course, there are still moments in which I’m in panic mode and feel like it’s the end of the world 😫😱

But after going though so many setbacks and, most importantly, being able to survive them all, I’ve realized that there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Everything happens for a reason. It may not make sense now but one day it will.

All I need is to keep moving forward and to have faith in the Universe.
