Listen to your body not your ego

I wanted to work on the flying pigeon pose the other day. But after a few minutes of practice and a LOT of frustration, I knew it wouldn’t happen because:

  1. I was feeling weak from my previous practice (too much lolasana 😂)
  2. I don’t think I have enough strength yet.

So instead I decided to go for a nap to let my body recover.

And that’s perfectly fine ❤

What’s important in a yoga practice is not so much about achieving a specific asana. It’s usually the ego who wants that…

What’s important is to listen to your body and take good care of it.

And also to have some fun in the process 😊
