Vitamin C is a no-no for me

A couple of weeks ago, I got sick.

I had fever, 39.9°C, headache, muscle soreness, my nose was stuck.

I decided I’d take some vitamin C to boost my immune system.

I don’t know if it really helped but after a couple of days, I wasn’t feeling sick anymore.

BUT…

After 4 days of taking it, I started to have diarrhea, nausea, headache and fever up to 38.5°C.

At first, I thought it was food intoxication. Not my first rodeo, so I wasn’t too much concerned and just sucked it up and waited.

It’s been now my 4th day of feeling sick and I still have diarrhea and now I have abdominal cramps.

Plus, it couldn’t be food intoxication because I’m eating the same food as my entire family and no one got sick. And usually, after 2 days, I always feel better.

This afternoon, I randomly browsed my recommended articles by Google and bumped into one talking about vitamins and why it could be bad for you.

And BOOM!

Excess of vitamin C causes: diarrhea, nausea and abdominal cramps.

So, actually, my body was doing just fine before taking those pills, and now I don’t know how long my body will take to recover from it.

Right now, I feel like shit… litterally.
