One breath at a time

There’s always something to celebrate.

It can be your daughter learning how to crawl, you running one more lap (high five!), or something that too many of us take it for granted: breathing and being alive.

I used to be someone who didn’t know how to celebrate victories, big or small. I would always be worried about the next steps, never enjoying the present moment to its fullest. It was frustrating. It felt like I would never be good enough, and at some point, I wasn’t even feeling happy.

One day after another, though, I’ve learned to celebrate the small victories. It forced me to live more in the present and to worry less about the future.

Success is a series of small victories.
