I hitchhiked for 2000km in Brazil. It was one of my craziest adventures in South America and gave me some unique experiences (and even a scar in my leg – funny story 😛).
For this new article, I’d like to talk about how I prepared myself before returning home. During my trip, I heard some stories about people who would go on depression because they didn’t have any plans once they got back home. For sure, that’s not what I wanted.
Have you ever been away for a long time from your friends and family?
I’m halfway through my trip to South America and so far, I’ve learned:
I arrive at the bus terminal and ask a guy if I’m on the right platformsup*/sup
Yesterday, I visited the falls from the Argentinian side in Puerto Iguazu.
Here I am in Argentina. Puerto Iguazu, in Misiones state. I’m switching from my poor Portuguese to my old Spanish (I haven’t practiced Spanish for 10 years!). I’m still confused and continue to say “Obrigada” instead of “Gracias”. I’m proud to say that I invented a new word: “Obrigracias” ^^
On my second day in Foz, I’ve been to Parque das Aves which means the bird park! It’s a park close to the falls, like 5 min walking distance.
After 16h of bus ride from Florianopolis, here we are in Foz do Iguaçu!
Have you ever heard about Lagoinha do Leste?
